IMHO only the routes right of Creeping Jesus should be given Trad grades as everything left is bouldering, admittedly highball in places, but bouldering none the less. All of Pisa wall should be given bouldering grades (V or Font), the rest of the quarry trad grades. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Two eyes and the problems left of it felt a bit more than highball to me Andy! Do you find this valuable?

That's 'cos they are a bit highball, but there still not routes. Do you find this valuable?

Hmmm. Im dubious as to whether this is wise. Didnt you once tell the good Andi E before he visited that The Knife was V4? If you enter a route then grade it as you see fit. Do you find this valuable?

The Knife is E4/5 6a, obviously not a boulder problem. It would be V4 for the overall difficulty, but as it's a route then the trad grade is appropriate. Do you find this valuable?

Yeah. I remember Andi took it literally and I said to him if its a boulder problem then its about as highball as they come. He merely replied that he would put all 3 of his mats down.

Then he saw the line.
Do you find this valuable?

The ground drops away after Bermuda Triangle - itself quite committing. Algripper for instance would be given a trad grade in the Peak or Lancashire gritstone. The test is (leaving your ego out of this) would you take a fall from the top move onto a mat? Lew's Leap maybe. Algripper? Do you find this valuable?

No chance. Thered have to be a large stack of mats at the bottom and even then I wouldnt exactly do it out of choice. I would scream like a little girly all the way down. Without mats you would definately not be striding away from it. Broken legs at least even with a good landing? An awkward landing much worse possibly? Do you find this valuable?

You've been hanging about at Pex too long youth. Some of thsoe routes you don't want to give trad grades are longer than Peak E10's! Agree about most of Pisa wall but. Do you find this valuable?
